Welcome to the Tennessee Federation of Chapters. We along with the total NARFE organization are the only organization that works to protect the earned benefits of all federal employees, retirees and their families. If you are now receiving or expect to receive a federal retirement annuity, then you should join us as a member and help us actively preserve our federal benefits.

NARFE works on the national and state levels in Congress to propose and oppose legislation in the interest of the federal employee and retiree. With over 330,000 members nationwide we are a strong voice in Washington DC.

On these pages you will find information about the Tennessee Federation and the 36 chapters and over 4000 members in Tennessee. There is a chapter near where you live. Feel free to look around our website, you will find lots of useful information. Contact the chapter nearest you or use the information on these pages to contact us on the Federation level.

Our goal here is to make these pages useful and informative whether you are a NARFE member or a visitor. Please come back often as this website will be updated as more information becomes available.

Every federal employee and retiree along with their spouses should belong to this organization, this is the only way we can work together to protect our earned benifits. If you are a current member tell some other potential member about NARFE and invite them to join. If you are not yet a member, check us out.

NARFE Works For You

Special note to our members, the Emails of news and important information that has been previously sent out by the TennFedNet has been converted to make use of the Global Electronic Messaging System (GEMS) available from NARFE Headquarters. What this means is that when there is important news from the Federation, it will be sent via GEMS. Those of you who have email addresses, it is imperative that you are signed up to receive messages through GEMS and that you update your records when needed. Also please remember to keep your current mailing address and phone number updated at Headquarters. You can update all your records and sign up for GEMS by clicking here.
